Short bio
Maxime Puys is a lecturer in University of Clermont Auvergne and conducts his research at the LIMOS Laboratory. His field of research focuses on cybersecurity for networks and IoT devices. In particular, he studies the security of industrial and critical IoT with the aim of understanding how cyberattacks can compromise safety properties. He also works on network and host intrusion detection using machine learning algorithms, cryptographic protocol analysis, and large language model (LLM) security.
